Thomas Alfred John Davidson & Harriett Denham ...

Thomas Alfred John Davidson was born at Mt Egerton, on Christmas Day in 1883. He married Harriet Avon Denham in 1905 and they had 2 children, Albert Harding and Bertha Eileen.

The family moved to Wonthaggi in the 1930s, where Thomas took up a job at the State Coal Mines. At some stage he travelled to Collie, in Western Australia, and worked there for several years. Harriet did not go with him to Western Australia, and they eventually separated.

After they went their separate ways, Thomas lived with friends in Wonthaggi, before moving to Footscray. Harriet lived in Northcote for a number of years, with her sisters-in-law, Bella and Ethel, before passing away in 1963 in Mildura. She was cremated at Springvale Botanical Cemetery. Thomas passed away in Footscray in 1946 at the age of 62, and was cremated at Fawkner Memorial Park.

Unfortunately not much is known about their first child, Albert. He was born in 1906 and died in 1961 in Fitzroy, at the age of 55.

Their second child, Bertha, was born at St Arnaud in 1907. She married Bert Stott and they did not have any children. Bertha passed away at Northcote in 1940, at the young age of 33 and is buried at Preston Cemetery.
